Our strategic priorities and pillars
Since joining the UN in 1960, the Democratic Republic of Congo has been one of its most active members. As a member, the Democratic Republic of Congo participates in discussions on the role and missions of the UN, thereby influencing how its priorities are defined and its programs implemented.
Our strategic pillars are :
- Structuring the production, distribution, and marketing of natural resources to make them more profitable;
- Reform of United Nations peacekeeping operations;
- Environmental issues;
- The impact of blood minerals on the stabilization of regions plagued by violence;
- Reform of the United Nations Collective Security System.
