The Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the United Nations, Ambassador Zénon Mukongo Ngay, received this afternoon in New York Mr. Rafael Grossi, candidate for the position of Secretary-General of the United Nations and current Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This meeting was held at the Permanent Mission of the DRC to the United Nations.

During this meeting, held at the Permanent Mission of the DRC to the United Nations as part of the process for selecting the Organization’s next Secretary-General, the Argentine diplomat presented his candidacy and sought the support of the DRC.
